Cats are cute and should receive human care
For 22 years, an elderly man has collected scrap metal for the care of stray kittens.
Most people do not believe that it is their job to take care of the strays that wander the streets. However for more than 22 years, one kind guy has taken matters into his own hands by feeding stray cats every day.
Even though he didn’t have much money for himself, he always gave the cats enough of food and water each day. When times were tight, the man would go around collecting scrap metal so he could still have some money left over to feed the cats.
After observing people ignore a starving kitten begging for food, he began providing food for stray cats. People were shoving it away, and I could tell it needed assistance, Willie recalled. “I realize these animals can’t understand my accent, but I need to do something,” Since that day, he has made it his life’s work to care for stray cats.
Willie feeds the cats and keeps an eye on their health every day. Every morning he drives around gathering scraps to sell. Every evening he leaves his house with tins of sardines and cat chow. He provides excellent care and nutrition for the kitties he looks after.
Willie takes care of the injured or ailing cats and brings them in so they can receive the necessary medical attention in addition to providing the cats with food each day. Willie said he will continue to feed the cats for as long as he can despite the difficulty of his work because it makes him happy.
The relationship between people and animals is powerful.
According to Kathleen Schlentz on GoFundMe, “he currently feeds 16 colonies of stray and wild cats, total of 68 cats, every night, 365 days a year, and has never missed a night in 22 years.”
Willie received a lot of donations from other people as well; they weren’t simply interested in helping the cats; they also wanted to support old man Willie.
Let’s hope that Willie and his puppies will have a long and happy life. They deserve a lot of affection.
